On June 12th 2015, as every Friday, we had a recorded improvisational session with El Intruso.
While I was playing, vivid memories of Ornette Coleman, who passed away the previous day, were flying through my mind.
Once the session was over, I came to the realization that as I played, I had lived my own personal tribute to his memory.
This message is an invitation to be a part of that tribute, especially directed to all who have experienced Ornette in a similar way.
The idea is simple. Download the files, listen to the session and choose a part – or parts – where you feel more comfortable with your instrument. There are places very different here.
Record over the chosen part/s and send the result to us.
It can intervene in many ways. Some people sent us melodies that sound over music, others sent us environments, noise… etc, in order to modify that exists. Being an intruder is the most important. What You can offer, anyone else can do.
This is an open project, therefore if you would like to invite someone else to participate, please feel free to share.

El doce de junio de 2015, como todos los viernes, teníamos una sesión de improvisación con El Intruso.
Mientras estaba tocando me venía todo el tiempo a la cabeza el recuerdo de Ornette Coleman, que había fallecido el día anterior.
Cuando terminó la sesión, me pareció que yo, personalmente, mientras tocaba, había vivido un homenaje a su memoria. Así que esta convocatoria es una invitación a formar parte de ese homenaje, para todos los que sientan a Ornette del mismo modo.
La idea es muy sencilla. Descarga la sesión, escuchala y escoge la parte – o partes- en las que te sientas más a gusto con tu instrumento. Hay lugares muy diferentes aquí.
Después, graba sobre esas partes y envíanos la grabación.
Se puede intervenir de muchas formas. Algunas personas nos envian melodías que sonaran sobre lo que existe. Otras nos enviarán ambientes, ruidos, etc. que modificaran lo que existe. Lo importante es participar. Nadie podrá ofrecernos lo que tú puedes ofrecer.
Se trata de un proyecto totalmente abierto, de modo que si quieres invitar a alguien a participar, sólo tienes que compartirlo.
